FM Terminal

Recording of Operating Data
Using the FM Terminal, the driver stores operating data (reasons for journeys, rest periods and customer details) in the on-board computer's memory.

 

Internationalised
The FM Terminal supports a number of different languages, daylight savings, different units of measure and different currencies.

 

On Screen Display
Trip information and violation warnings are also displayed on the screen.

 

Job Messaging
The FM Terminal can receive and respond to job messages. Job messages can be accepted, postponed or rejected. The FM Terminal can also send and receive normal text-messages.

 

External Interface
PC keyboard or barcode scanner can be easily connected.

Flexible
The menu system can be customised to suit your organisation requirements.

FM Voice Kit

Phone functionality

Up to 4 preset numbers can be dialed by selecting the corresponding number from the FM Keypad. In addition to initiating calls, the FM Keypad is used for the answering and or rejecting of incoming calls.

Low Dropout Voltage

The FM Voice Kit is able to work reliably down to 8V, preventing dropped calls should the engine of the vehicle to which it is fitted be started while the driver is on a call.

Low Idle Current Consumption

The FM Voice Kit draws a small amount of current when not in use, so as not to deplete the vehicles battery unnecessarily.

Omni-directional Microphone

The high-performance, omni-directional microphone included in the kit provides crisp, clear sound even in noisy environments.

High-power BTL Amplifier

A high-power amplifier in Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) configuration is used to drive the speaker for maximum power output even at low battery voltages and ensures optimum sound reproduction, suitable for use in a noisy environment.
